Strange Scent Candle

"I have always wanted to use my community as a candle series, but I have never thought of where to start. I have thought about a shopping mall where filled with scent of milk in Tsun Yip Street, Kwun Tong, and even Tai Mo Shan as the first geographical theme. But in the end, I chose Tuen Mun Pier as the first place for this series.

You may ask where the Tuen Mun Pier is. No one knows it. The reason why Central Pier, Kwun Tong Pier, Tsim Sha Tsui Pier, etc. were not chosen as inspiration (though I think the taste of each pier is the same), because Tuen Mun Pier is a place where he spent his childhood, he used to live in there, so he wanted to use the smell of the place he knew best as the first product in this place series.

I also really want to introduce the community of “Tuen Mun gang” through this series. I hope that people who don’t know this place can feel my memory of this place. Tuen Mun Pier is a very peaceful and comfortable place, there is no noisy tourists, only dogs and residents walks along the waterfront, there are few shortcomings except for the frequent traffic jams when commute to work in Kowloon/Hong Kong Island.

Although the theme of this candle has something to do with the ocean, the scent is not as lively as the traditional scent of ocean. It lacks a fruity and floral scent, and has a sea salt and water feel. Yet, it pays more attention to the smell of sea and moisture. , The intensity of the aroma will also tend to be lighter, creating the sense of natural breeze at the Tuen Mun Pier in the past.

This series of candles will not have their own Playlist like other candles. Instead, they will represent the coordinates of the place. As long as you enter the number on the can in Google Map/Apple Map, it will take you to the real one. Tuen Mun Ferry Pier.

If you are still confused about this place, you might as well search the coordinates of the lower tank.  Or if you have watched the HK movie “Beyond the Dream”, you would find many scenes of “Beyond the Dream”, even the movie posters are shot at Tuen Mun Pier."
